convert/sincos converts all trigonometric functions appearing in the expression to sin and cos, and converts all hyperbolic trigonometric functions to sinh and cosh.

If the optional parameter x is specified, then only those functions that depend on the variables in x will be converted.

$\mathrm{convert}\left(\cot \left(x\right)\,\mathrm{sincos}\right)$

$\frac{\cos \left(x\right)}{\sin \left(x\right)}$

$\mathrm{convert}\left(\tanh \left(x\right)\,\mathrm{sincos}\right)$

$\frac{\sinh \left(x\right)}{\cosh \left(x\right)}$

$\mathrm{convert}\left(\sec \left(\sec \left(x\right)\coth \left(a\right)\right)\tan \left(b\right)\,\mathrm{sincos}\,\left\{b\,x\right\}\right)$

$\frac{\sin \left(b\right)}{\cos \left(\frac{\coth \left(a\right)}{\cos \left(x\right)}\right)\cos \left(b\right)}$
