JVX (JavaView geometry) is a file format for geometry and computer-aided design.

This format has a legacy text-based variant and a XML-based variant.

It supports both 2-D and 3-D geometry and coloring of edges, points, and faces.

The plottools[importplot] and plottools[exportplot] commands can be used for data exchange between this format and Maple 3-D plots. Only the XML-based variant is supported.

The general-purpose commands Import and Export also support this format.
