About Maplesoft
Maplesoft is a leading developer of advanced mathematical and analytical software.
Click here for a brief historical overview of Maple, Maplesoft's flagship product.

Maplesoft™ is a leading developer of interactive mathematical software. Its innovative suite of products harnesses the power of mathematics to provide industry, government and academia with the ultimate set of technical productivity tools.

Given great tools, people can do great things. Maplesoft’s advanced tools transform the way engineers, scientists, mathematicians, educators and students use mathematics, enabling them to work better, faster and smarter. Not only do Maplesoft’s intuitive and powerful products quickly provide the mathematically optimized solution, they also capture the knowledge and thinking behind the analysis.

Core Product Suite
The Maplesoft core product suite includes the following:
  • Maple™, the most powerful and intuitive tool for solving complex mathematical problems and creating rich, executable technical documents
  • BlockBuilder™ for Simulink®, a “First Principles” physical modeling environment that offers automated export to Simulink
  • Maple™ Toolbox for MATLAB®— combining the best in symbolic and numeric computation to develop mathematical solutions and perform in-depth analysis of the results
  • Maplesoft-MAA Placement Test Suite, a powerful Web-based placement testing system, automatically assessing student responses and performance
  • Maple T.A.™, a Web-based system for creating tests, assignments and exercises
  • MapleNet™, a platform that allows Maple users to publish their live Maple documents on the Web
Add-on Products
Maplesoft’s core suite is broadened by its Professional Toolbox Series, e-books and study guides, and a wealth of third party products developed through the MapleConnect developer support program.

  • The Professional Toolbox Series provides domain-specific tools that transform the core Maplesoft products to discipline-specific applications; one such tool is the Global Optimization Toolbox, which allows users to easily formulate an optimization model inside the powerful Maple numeric and symbolic system, and then use world-class Maple numeric solvers to return the best answer.
  • Maple E-Books and Study Guides are electronic versions of standard math textbooks designed to assist students in grasping fundamental concepts through visualization, practice and theory. An example is Advanced Engineering Mathematics with Maple, the definitive reference software and textbook for engineering mathematics.
  • MapleConnect™ is a developer support program designed to help third party members of Maplesoft’s unique community capitalize on their creativity, knowledge, and ideas by commercializing their intellectual property. This program has resulted in a broad range of third party products including DynaFlexPro™, a package for modeling and simulating the dynamics of mechanical multibody systems.

Maple Application Center™
To complement its highly integrated product suite, Maplesoft offers the Maple Application Center, a comprehensive and popular Web resource for mathematics. The Maple Application Center is an online exchange of free applications built for Maplesoft products. The center has over 1500 Maple applications, Maplet™ applications, tutorials, Maple PowerTools™, Maple T.A. resources and Maple packages available for free download.

Physical Modeling Consortium
The Physical Modeling Consortium is a forum founded by Maplesoft with the vision of bringing together leading companies in the automotive sector to share ideas and evolve new processes in automotive design.
