The Maplesoft Great Applications Contest
Got a Maple application that will knock our socks off? Something with cool images, elegant math, or just a great introduction to using Differential Equations? We want to see it!

Maplesoft is running a contest to find the best new Maple applications out there. To enter, simply contribute your document on the Maple Application Center, including the line “The Maplesoft Great Application Contest” in the Comments box. (However, all submissions to the Maple Application Center will automatically be considered.)

For more information, please visit MaplePrimes.

Contribute your work to the Application Center!
We welcome contributions of Maple worksheets, packages and Maplet applications from users to our Maple Application Center.

Your application can be a solution to a specific problem in your field, a Maplet application, a classroom demonstration, aesthetic graphics or animations, an extension of Maple's functionality, or a Maple package providing any of the above.

The Maple Application Center provides a free distribution mechanism for Maple related materials. If you are interested in commercializing your work, take a look at the MapleConnect Developer Program.

How to contribute your work

Complete the application submission form to contribute your work to the Application Center. Only registered Maplesoft Members can submit an application. If you are a member, please ensure that you are logged-in. If you are not yet a member, you can sign-up quickly and easily.

Please note that you must agree to the Application Center license agreement prior to submitting an application. You retain copyright of your material, while granting Maplesoft non-exclusive right to distribute it to those who download it via the Internet. You may wish to include a copyright notice to prevent third parties distributing or selling it for profit.

Worksheets should be based on the Application Center Style Guide and should include a header that gives the title, your affiliation (name, institution and e-mail), and a 10-25 word description of the application.

An introductory section illustrates the problem and objectives for a general user and describes any specific methods or nonstandard packages to be used. This is followed by the development of the problem, solution and results (including graphics wherever possible) and finally, by a conclusion discussing the advantages of Maple for solving this problem, guidance on extending the work and references.

THANK YOU for helping others by contributing to our Maple Application Center!
