Maple 11.02 download and installation instructions


Single & Network User Versions


Windows Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the update and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1)
Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Double-click the Maple1102WindowsUpgrade.exe file.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) Once the installation is complete, you may delete the Maple1102WindowsUpgrade.exe file.


Linux 32-bit Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./Maple1102LinuxUpgrade.bin.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) When the installation is complete, you may delete the Maple1102LinuxUpgrade.bin file.

Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.


Linux 64-bit Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./Maple1102LinuxX86_64Upgrade.bin.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) When the installation is complete, you may delete the Maple1102LinuxX86_64Upgrade.bin file.

Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.



Linux Itanium Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./Maple1102LinuxItanium2Upgrade.bin.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) When the installation is complete, you may delete the Maple1102LinuxItanium2Upgrade.bin file.

Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.



Macintosh PPC Download and Installation Instructions
If you do not have a copy of StuffIt Expander, then download it now.
From the Maple 11.02 download page, download the update and remember where you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) To extract the installer, double-click the Maple1102PPCMacUpgrade.zip file.
(3) When the installer has finished extracting, double-click the Maple1102PPCMacUpgrade.mpkg icon.
(4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may now delete the Maple1102PPCMacUpgrade.zip and Maple1102PPCMacUpgrade.mpkg files.


Macintosh Intel Download and Installation Instructions
If you do not have a copy of StuffIt Expander, then download it now.
From the Maple 11.02 download page, download the update and remember where you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) To extract the installer, double-click the Maple1102IntelMacUpgrade.zip file.
(3) When the installer has finished extracting, double-click the Maple1102IntelMacUpgrade.mpkg icon.
(4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may now delete the Maple1102IntelMacUpgrade.zip and Maple1102IntelMacUpgrade.mpkg files.


Sun Solaris Download and Installation Instruction
From the Maple 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./ Maple1102SunSolarisUpgrade.bin
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions
(4) Repeat for each client that you wish to update.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may delete the Maple1102SunSolarisUpgrade.bin file.


Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.
