Jim Cooper P. Eng., CEO, Maplesoft

He has held executive positions with leading
technology companies such as the SEMA Group,
Alias-Wavefront, and CAE. In addition, he is
an accomplished entrepreneur who has developed
several innovative ventures.
Dr. Brian Ford, Founding Director, NAG Ltd.
Dr. Ford is a pioneer and legend in mathematical
computation. His vision and innovation founded
and drove the evolution of the most trusted and
comprehensive suite of numerical routines: the
renowned NAG® libraries. Dr. Ford is noted
for major contributions to numerical software
portability, the design of computational environments
and hosted the seminal IFIP Working Conference
on Problem Solving Environments. Dr. Ford remains
active in the scientific computation industry
as an active contributor to startup ventures.
Dr. Andre Heck, Author and Researcher, AMSTEL Institute, Netherlands
Dr. Heck's best-selling book Introduction to Maple (Springer) is currently in its third edition and is one of the most successful books on Maple. In addition, Dr. Heck is a senior member of the Amsterdam Mathematics Science & Technology Education Laboratory (AMSTEL) of the University of Amsterdam and has lead the research and development of new tools and techniques for innovation mathematics education. Recently, Dr. Heck has been active in automated assessment strategies for mathematics using Maple T.A.
Dr. Richard Gran, CEO, Mathematical Analysis Company
Dr. Gran is a senior consultant to the US space
and air defense community in the areas of system
simulation and control design. His extensive
experience includes the position of senior engineer
for Grumman Aircraft during the Apollo era. He
was part of the team that sent men to the moon
and rescued the marooned astronauts of Apollo
13 (Grumman made the lunar module). Later works
included magnetically levitated trains and flight
controls for the X-29 aircraft.
Dr. Bary Wilson, Chief Scientist, Splinex Technology Inc.
Dr. Wilson is recognized internationally for his pioneering work in the
area of electromagnetic field effects on the neuroendocrine system. As a senior scientist and manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, he gained extensive overseas experience including development of projects related to national security, scientific infrastructure development and military offsets.
