Design of Electric Power Steering Systems

In this webinar, an introduction is made to modeling, simulation, and analysis with MapleSim by studying a full vehicle model equipped with electric power steering. The webinar will cover modeling and simulation aspects such as a 3D multibody steering mechanism, and multi-domain modeling by inclusion of electrical and 1D translational components. The presented model also includes a model for the friction with the hysteresis effect which is modeled via the equation-based custom component capabilities of MapleSim via Maple.
