The Today( ) command returns a Date object representing the current day in the local time zone.

$\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{Calendar}\right)\:$

$\mathrm{Today}\left(\right)$

$\mathrm{<Date:\; 2021-03-09T02:24:34.001\; GMT>}$

The Calendar[Today] command was introduced in Maple 2018.
