 limit
compute the limit of each component of a Vector

 Calling Sequence limit(f, v)

Parameters

f - Vector or algebraic expression v - expression sequence of arguments to pass to the top-level limit function

Description

 • The limit(f, v) calling sequence maps the top-level limit function over the components of the Vector f.  If f is not a Vector, the arguments are passed to the top-level limit function.

Examples

 > $\underset{t→2}{lim}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.4em}{0.0ex}}⟨t,{t}^{2}⟩$
 $\left({2}\right){{e}}_{{x}}{+}\left({4}\right){{e}}_{{y}}$ (1)
 > $\underset{t→0}{lim}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.4em}{0.0ex}}⟨\frac{\mathrm{sin}\left(t\right)}{t},\frac{1-\mathrm{cos}\left(t\right)}{t}⟩$
 $\left({1}\right){{e}}_{{x}}{+}\left({0}\right){{e}}_{{y}}$ (2)
