GIF file format

Description

 • GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is a popular image data format for lossless compressed raster images.
 • The context-sensitive menu can be used to export Maple plot graphics to GIF format.
 • Additionally, GIF images can be inserted directly into a Maple Document.
 • The Export command can programmatically export Maple plots to GIF.

Examples

Export a plot to a GIF file in the home directory of the current user.
