Maplesoft has been a proud participant in co-operative work/study education programs for over 20 years. Many of our students have come back as permanent employees (though not always after their first degree!), and all have gained valuable experience which they have used to help them along their careers. We are eager to open the door to even more talented, dynamic, motivated individuals world-wide through a new summer intern program. Come join the Maplesoft team!
Numbers and positions vary from year to year, and depend in part on the number and quality of applicants. Positions are potentially available in:
- Mathematical programming and algorithm development
- Interface development
- Technical marketing (including the creation of real-world applications and demonstrations)
- Engineering applications and toolboxes
Currently, all positions are in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Students must be familiar with Maple, with a demonstrated ability to use Maple to solve problems.
We are looking for undergraduate students in mathematics, science, computer science, and engineering.
The application due date was Jan. 31, 2008. We thank you for your interest in the Maplesoft program.
