Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download and installation instructions


Single & Network Users


Windows Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the update and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1)
Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Double-click the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Windows.exe file.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) Once the installation is complete, you may delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Windows.exe file.


Linux 32-bit Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Linux.bin.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) When the installation is complete, you may delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Linux.bin file.

Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.


Linux 64-bit Download and Installation Instructions
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_LinuxX86_64.bin.
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(4) When the installation is complete, you may delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_LinuxX86_64.bin file.

Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.


Macintosh PPC Download and Installation Instructions

If you do not have a copy of StuffIt Expander, then download it now.
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, download the update and remember where you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) To extract the installer, double-click the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Mac.zip file.
(3) When the installer has finished extracting, double-click the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Mac.mpkg icon.
(4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may now delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Mac.zip and MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Mac.mpkg files.

Macintosh Intel Download and Installation Instructions
If you do not have a copy of StuffIt Expander, then download it now.
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, download the update and remember where you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) To extract the installer, double-click the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_IntelMac.zip file.
(3) When the installer has finished extracting, double-click the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_IntelMac.mpkg icon.
(4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may now delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_IntelMac.zip and MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_IntelMac.mpkg files.



Sun Solaris Download and Installation Instruction
From the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB® 11.02 download page, Click (or [Shift]+Click) to download the file and remember the folder in which you save it.

(1) Close all open Maple sessions.
(2) Give the file execute permissions and run the command ./ MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Sun.bin
(3) Follow the on-screen instructions
(4) Repeat for each client that you wish to update.
(5) When the installation is complete, you may delete the MapleToolboxforMATLABUpgrade_Sun.bin file.


Note: The Linux upgrade installer can be launched in command line mode by passing the -i console option.
