Maple 13 and MapleSim 2 for Controls Engineering Education

Maplesoft August 26, 2009: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (UTC -04:00) Eastern Daylight Time Related Products

This webinar will, by the use of introductory and more complex examples, demonstrate how Maplesoft’s products can be used when teaching and learning controls engineering concepts. The concepts will be demonstrated using MapleSim, a new high-performance multi-domain modeling and simulation tool, as well as with Maple and its Dynamic Systems package, which offers a large selection of analytic and graphing tools for linear time-invariant systems, essential in control systems development.

This webinar will be presented by Dr. Robert Lopez, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Dr. Lopez is an award winning educator and author of several books, including Advanced Engineering Mathematics. For over a decade, he has also been a visionary figure in the introduction of math technology into undergraduate education and has received numerous awards for outstanding scholarship and teaching. Joining him as co-presenter is Tim Vrablik, Applications Engineer at Maplesoft.
