This is a hydraulic scissor lift system that combines the MapleSim’s Modelon Hydraulics and the Multibody domain. The hydraulics circuit demonstrates the scissor lift motion by controlling the cylinder translational extension. The control shows the lift and hold capabilities while providing the hydraulic pressure by using a pump model driven by a motor control. The plunger cylinder converts hydraulic flow into translational motion, and lifts a scissor mechanism and the associated gantry. At the top of the lift, the system holds for 10 seconds (with a check valve prevent backflow). A let-down valve then opens, allow the scissor mechanism to retract back down (with the descent throttled by the restriction of the hydraulic circuit). When fully retracted to the bottom, the scissor mechanism rests on a back-stop.
