EV Battery Cooling System

This model converts the lost energy within the battery during the charge/discharge cycles to heat. Thermal components are used to define the thermal mass of the battery and the ambient temperature in the battery compartment and conductive and convective heat transfer models are implemented to determine the heat flow and temperature profile throughout the system. Battery temperature is controlled using a liquid cooling system, including a radiator with a fan to control airflow across the radiator.
