Piezoelectric Linear Step Motor

This is a model of a piezoelectric slip-stick motor. It is unique because it has an electrostatic clamp to allow the stick phase to take less time. Custom Component and Modelica models of supporting components are also included. The simulation results show good agreement with published experimental results. A tolerance analysis and parameter sweep of the clamp voltage is contained in the Attachments>Documents folder, and uses the Threads package to speed up the analysis.
