PTS 4.0 is now available!
The Maplesoft-MAA Placement Test Suite 4.0 contains many new features that will reduce unwanted student collaboration, improve the student experience, and further simplify the administration of placement tests.
Algorithmic placement tests from the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) are now available for online delivery through the Placement Test Suite. Algorithmically-generated tests provide multiple forms of a given test to allow for repeated testing of the same student population. Each question contains one or more variables whose values are randomly chosen according to the constraints specified in the question template. Every student is presented with a randomized version of the same problem, so answers cannot be shared.
PTS 4.0 also includes:
- More customized messages for students
- Gradebook improvements
- Increased flexibility in user registration
- Enhanced roster import
