Clickable Calculus

View the new Clickable Calculus interactive video by Dr. Robert Lopez, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Watch him solve a spectrum of standard (and not-so-standard) problems drawn from differential equations, linear algebra, and vector calculus, demonstrating the potential of “Clickable Calculus” to enrich the mathematical experience.

Maple T.A. Content Center

Combining the best in symbolic and numeric computation to develop mathematical solutions the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB update includes compatibility with Windows Vista, Mac Intel, and the latest release of MATLAB – MATLAB 2007b.

In its second year, the Maplesoft sponsorship will support the professional development of Rebecca Wills, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Roanoke College, Virginia. The MAA’s Project NExT(New Experiences in Teaching) is a professional development program for new or recent Ph.D. students in the mathematical sciences field. It addresses all aspects of an academic career: improving the teaching and learning of mathematics, engaging in research and scholarship, and participating in professional activities.
