Description

The ConicsTutor command launches a tutor interface that illustrates the graph and provides information about the related conic section.

The equation f can be one of the following forms:

|
where expr1 and are of degree at most 2, in terms of x and y.
|

|
where is the polar form of an equation for a conic section, in terms of the variable t.
|
–
|
where is the polar form of an equation for a conic section, in terms of the variable t.
|
–
|
Note that can either be a constant or be in the form , where a, b, and c are real numbers, and d is the sine or cosine function.

|
If f is not specified, ConicsTutor uses a default function.
