Description

The CodeTools package contains subpackages and commands to help improve the efficiency and quality of Maple code.
|
|
- The Profiling subpackage contains methods for performing statement level profiling of Maple code. This means that profiling information can be obtained for each statement.
|
|
- The Profiling subpackage has a subpackage, Coverage, which analyzes the profiling data to generate information about code coverage. The coverage information indicates which procedures and statements executed and which did not. This is useful when testing code.
|
|
The CodeTools package also contains commands for working with the subpackages.
|

Each command in the CodeTools package can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.
|
|
As the underlying implementation of the CodeTools package is a module, it is also possible to use the form CodeTools:-command to access a command from the package. For more information, see Module Members.
