Poly Ramp

Generate ramp signal from polynomial

Description The Poly Ramp component generates a continuous, real, ramp signal with a specified offset, height, start time (${T}_{0}$) and rise time (${T}_{r}$). The order parameter selects the order of the polynomial used to generate the ramp; it can be 3, 5, or 7.
 Equations $y=\mathrm{offset}+\mathrm{height}\left\{\begin{array}{cc}0& t\le {T}_{0}\\ \left\{\begin{array}{cc}-2{x}^{3}+3{x}^{2}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{8.0ex}{0.0ex}}& \phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.5ex}{0.0ex}}\mathrm{order}=3\\ 6{x}^{5}-15{x}^{4}+10{x}^{3}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{4.5ex}{0.0ex}}& \phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.5ex}{0.0ex}}\mathrm{order}=5\\ -20{x}^{7}+70{x}^{6}-84{x}^{5}+35{x}^{4}& \phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.5ex}{0.0ex}}\mathrm{order}=7\end{array}& t\le {T}_{0}+{T}_{r}\\ 1& \mathrm{otherwise}\end{array}$ $x=\frac{t-{T}_{0}}{{T}_{r}}$
