Overview of the CurveFitting Package

 Calling Sequence CurveFitting[command](arguments) command(arguments)

Description

 • The CurveFitting package is a collection of commands that support curve-fitting. By using the CurveFitting commands you can create a function that goes near or through a set of data points.
 • Most commands in the CurveFitting package return the interpolating function.  For data resampling and table lookup, use the command ArrayInterpolation, which is designed to return interpolated data points efficiently.
 • There is a Maplet interface to the CurveFitting package. For more information, see the CurveFitting[Interactive] help page.
 • Each command in the CurveFitting package can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.
As the underlying implementation of the CurveFitting package is a module, it is also possible to use the form CurveFitting:-command to access a command from the package. For more information,  see Module Members.
