Insert an Execution Group
An execution group consists of Maple input with its corresponding Maple output. It is characterized by a large square bracket, called a group range, at the left.
When you insert an execution group, Maple also inserts a command prompt:
Maple commands entered at this prompt can be executed.
Insert an Execution Group Automatically
On the ribbon, from the Insert tab, click Maple Prompt ( ). An execution group will be inserted after the cursor.
To see command prompt options, other than inserting the prompt after the cursor, from the Insert tab, click the Maple Prompt dialog box launcher ( ), then click the desired option.
If your cursor is in a table, you can also select that a execution group be inserted Before Table or After Table.
You can control whether the default input mode is 2-D math notation or Maple notation. From the File menu, click the Options button, then set the default Input Display in the Display tab.
From the File menu, select Options.
Click the Display tab.
Select the Always insert new execution group after executing check box.
Click Apply to Session or Apply Globally as necessary.
