 sphere
generate 3-D plot object for a sphere

 Calling Sequence sphere(c, r, options)

Parameters

c - (optional) list(realcons); center of the sphere r - (optional) realcons; radius of the sphere options - (optional) equations of the form option=value as described in the plot3d/options help page

Description

 • The sphere command creates a three-dimensional plot data object, which when displayed is a sphere centered at c and of radius r.  The default values for c and r are $\left[0,0,0\right]$ and $1$, respectively.
 • A call to sphere produces a plot data object, which can be used in a PLOT3D data structure, or displayed using the plots[display] command.
 • Remaining arguments are interpreted as options, which are specified as equations of the form option = value. For more information, see plottools and plot3d/options.
