4.2 Adding, Deleting, Restoring, and Renaming Classes

1. From the System Homepage, click the Class Manager menu.

2. From the Class Manager menu options, you can:

Adding a New Class

To add a class:

1. From the Class Manager menu, select Add Class.

2. Enter the required information in the Class Details panel. A class name contains between 5 and 255 characters. It cannot contain the characters "<", ">", or "&".

3. Click Submit. The list of classes appears with the new class added to the bottom of the list.

Deleting a Class

To delete a class:

1. From the Class Manager menu, select Delete Classes.

2. Search for the class to delete, or find it in the displayed table.

3. Select the Delete check box beside the class (or classes) you want to delete.

4. Click Delete.

5. A warning message is displayed. Click Confirm to delete the class.

The list of classes is refreshed with the class removed from the list.

Restoring a Deleted Class

To restore a deleted class:

1. From the Class Manager menu, select Restore Classes.

2. Search for the class to delete, or find it in the displayed table.

3. Select the Restore check box beside the class (or classes) you want to restore.

4. Click Restore.

5. A warning message is displayed. Click Confirm to delete the class.

The list of classes is refreshed with the class restored and added to the list.

Renaming a Class

To rename a class:

1. From the Class Manager menu, select Class Search.

2. Search for the class you want to rename, or find it in the displayed table.

3. Click the Class Name link corresponding to the class you want to edit.

4. In the Class Details panel, click Class Info.

5. Click Edit.

6. Enter a new class name.

7. Submit.
