Custom Libraries

In MapleSim 7, custom libraries underwent a major update.  If you created a custom library in MapleSim 6.4 or earlier, you must convert it to the new format to use it in MapleSim 7 or later.

For details on the conversion process, see Updating Libraries Created in MapleSim 6.4 or Earlier.  For general information on custom libraries, see Creating a Custom Library.

Export as Image Shortcut Key Removed

In previous versions of MapleSim, Ctrl + E (Command + E for Macintosh) was the shortcut key combination for exporting the model diagram as an image. In MapleSim 7, this shortcut key combination has been reassigned to disable (or enable) selected components from a simulation.

To export a model diagram as an image, select File > Export as Image > 2-D.

For more information on excluding objects from a simulation, see Excluding Objects from a Simulation.  For information on keyboard shortcuts, see Reference: MapleSim Keyboard Shortcuts.
