Relative States $—$ Definition of relative state variables

This component provides state candidates for the relative motion between flanges a and b. These are by default defined to always be states. The force between the flanges and the relative position, velocity, and acceleration variables are accessible by clicking Advanced Variable Settings under the Properties tab ( ); here, initialization and state selection properties can be modified.
