MapleSim FMI Connector
The MapleSim™ FMI Connector and FMI Connector package provide all of the tools you need to prepare and export your dynamic systems models as FMI compatible models for collaborative exchange and co-simulation purposes. Models are exported as an FMU (Functional Mock-up Unit) zip file. You can create a model in MapleSim, analyze and simplify it using the FMI Connector app, and then generate an FMU executable that you can incorporate into your MODELISAR toolchain.
You can also use these tools for more detailed analysis of the exported models. Various options allow you to use the C code generation feature in Maple™ to create code libraries of your MapleSim models for implementation with the MODELISAR objectives.
The exported FMU models are exchanged as .fmu zip files and consist of:
XML content with variable definitions
model equations defined as C functions and executable DLLs
supporting data, such as code libraries, parameter tables, documentation
