geometry

 midpoint
find the midpoint of segment joining two points

 Calling Sequence midpoint(C, A, B) midpoint(C, seg)

Parameters

C - the name of the midpoint A, B - two points seg - segment

Description

 • The routine finds the midpoint of two points A, B, or of a segment seg.
 • For a detailed description of the midpoint C, use the routine detail (i.e., detail(C))
 • The command with(geometry, midpoint) allows the use of the abbreviated form of this command.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{point}\left(A,0,0\right),\mathrm{point}\left(B,2,0\right):$
 > $\mathrm{midpoint}\left(\mathrm{C1},A,B\right)$
