PolyhedralSets

 IsBounded
check if a polyhedral set is bounded

 Calling Sequence IsBounded(polyset)

Parameters

 polyset -

Description

 • Returns true if the polyhedral set polyset is bounded, false otherwise.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{PolyhedralSets}\right):$

The cube is bounded.

 > $\mathrm{IsBounded}\left(\mathrm{ExampleSets}:-\mathrm{Cube}\left(\right)\right)$
 ${\mathrm{true}}$ (1)

The half-space is not bounded.

 > $\mathrm{half_space}≔\mathrm{PolyhedralSet}\left(\left[0\le x\right],\left[x,y,z\right]\right):$$\mathrm{IsBounded}\left(\mathrm{half_space}\right)$
 ${\mathrm{false}}$ (2)

Compatibility

 • The PolyhedralSets[IsBounded] command was introduced in Maple 2015.
