Measuring the Radius of an Arc

Measure the radius of an arc. An annotation is added in the CAD Workspace next to the arc.

Distance annotations are not visible in MapleSim. They can only be seen in the Import CAD and Feature Detect windows.

To measure the radius of an arc:

1.

Click Closest Distance ( ).

2.

Place the pointer over the arc, and then click on the arc.

You will know you are over an arc when the pointer changes to a crosshair ( ). Also, all arcs in the CAD Workspace are highlighted to help you identify them.

Note: Press Esc to return the pointer to select mode ( ).
