Maple and MathML

Maple documents can be exported as HTML using MathML to encode the mathematics. MathML is standard way of describing mathematical expressions in a format that can be interpreted consistently by various web browsers, plug-ins, and mathematical software. For information about MathML, visit http://www.w3.org/Math/.

If you choose to export your Maple document as HTML using MathML or the Maple Viewer format for your mathematical expressions, the Maple Viewer plug-in will used to display the mathematics inside the resulting web page.  When someone views this page, their browser will automatically download the plug-in.
