In this model, a feed stream is delivered to a vaporizer. A temperature and mass controller regulate the heat added and the flowrate of the feed stream to maintain the temperature at a set point. The heat and mass balance are defined by differential equations implemented in custom components, while the other custom components are simpler algebraic relationships.
