Passenger-vehicle Suspension Design and Analysis in Maple
Description
This webinar will provide an in-depth overview of a user-generated application, that provides a complete toolbox for the design and analysis of an automobile's suspension systems. As the most popular suspension systems layout, the front and rear systems are supposed to be MacPherson and torsion beam, respectively.
During the course of this webinar, you will learn how to use this application to:
- Perform complete kinematic analyses of the front and rear suspensions and view the results using a wide variety of characteristic curves, such as spring deflection, damper deflection, camber by roll, scrub by bump, roll centre position, and more.
- Size the front and rear springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars.
- Easily change the input parameters, compute new simulations, and use buttons to easily select new plots, drop-down lists, and other interactive elements.
This webinar will be co-presented by the author of the application, Avesta Goodarzi, Professor at the University of Waterloo, and Paul Goossens, Vice President of Engineering Solutions at Maplesoft.
