Drawing Parallels between Different Engineering Disciplines with MapleSim

The physical world is goverened by universal concepts, and many systems can be modeled simply with a basic undestanding of these key principles. Students, however, often only follow a narrow engineering curriculum, and may not appreciate how their skills can be applied to other fields. The growing emphasis on multidomain modeling in industry, however, is compelling evidence that universities need to give students a broader understanding.

This webinar, appropriate for both professors and students to attend, will discuss how MapleSim can be used to explore other disciplines using pre-existing skills, illustrated with examples from fluid flow, electrical modeling and heat transfer.
