Generating and Deploying C code from MapleSim

This webinar presents the benefits of a symbolic computation environment when constructing and generating simulation code for multibody systems. To demonstrate these benefits, we use MapleSim, a modeling and simulation platform based on Maple's symbolic computation engine, to construct the multibody model of a slider-crank mechanism, then Maple to extract symbolic equations for the inverse kinematic and inverse dynamic relations from the model. These equations are used to generate optimized C code using the CodeGeneration package in Maple. The optimized C code files are then executed and compared with simulation results from the original model in MapleSim.
