Exp Sine

Generates a real exponentially damped sine signal

Description

The Exp Sine component generates a sine wave signal that is damped by a exponential function at the output, $y$. Its equation is

 $y={\begin{array}{cc}\mathrm{amplitude}\cdot \mathrm{exp}\left(-\left(t-{T}_{0}\right)\cdot \mathrm{α}\right)\cdot \mathrm{sin}\left(2\cdot \mathrm{π}\cdot f\cdot t+\mathrm{ϕ}\right)& t\ge {T}_{0}\\ 0& t<{T}_{0}\end{array}$

Connections

Name Description $y$ Real output signal connection
