Torque Arrow

Display a curved arrow that indicates the torque direction and a cylinder that represents the torque magnitude

Description During an animation, the height of the cylinder changes to represent the instantaneous torque magnitude.  You must connect this component in parallel with a multibody Force and Moment sensor in your model.  For more information on how to use the Torque Arrow see Using the Torque Arrow.

Connections

Name Description frame_a Defines the position of Torque Arrow in the 3D visualization torque Torque input from the Force and Moment sensor

Parameters

Symbol Default Description scale 1 Torque magnitude scale factor ($n$).  The torque magnitude ($\mathrm{Nm}$) is divided by this number ($n$), to give ($\frac{\mathrm{Nm}}{n}$). color red Defines the arrow and cylinder color.  For information on using the color selection tools, see Selecting Colors.
