Multibody Library Overview

This library contains components to model multibody mechanical systems.

Type

Description

Bodies and Frames

A set of components used to define rigid bodies and flexible beams

Forces and Moments

Generalized force components to apply forces and moments between two frames, or between ground and a frame

Joints and Motions

Prescribed motion and joint components to define or restrict motion between frames

Sensors

Sensor components to measure motion and generalized forces between frames

Contacts

Components that model surface contact between elements

Visualization

Attached shape components for 3-D visualization
