Multiphase Ideal Transformer

Multiphase ideal electrical transformer

Description

The ideal transformer is an ideal two-port resistive circuit element. Its equations are

with

 ${v}_{1}\equiv {v}_{\mathrm{p1}}-{v}_{\mathrm{p2}}$ ${v}_{2}\equiv {v}_{\mathrm{s1}}-{v}_{\mathrm{s2}}$ ${i}_{1}\equiv {i}_{\mathrm{p1}}$ ${i}_{2}\equiv {i}_{\mathrm{s1}}$ ${i}_{\mathrm{p1}}+{i}_{\mathrm{p2}}=0$ ${i}_{\mathrm{s1}}+{i}_{\mathrm{s2}}=0$

Connections

Name Description ${\mathrm{plug}}_{\mathrm{p1}}$ Port 1 positive plug ${\mathrm{plug}}_{\mathrm{p2}}$ Port 2 positive plug ${\mathrm{plug}}_{\mathrm{n1}}$ Port 1 negative plug ${{\mathrm{plug}}_{\mathrm{n2}}}_{}$ Port 2 negative plug

Variables

Symbol Units Description $A$ Current flowing into plug x, $V$ Voltage at plug x,

Parameters

Symbol Default Units Description Modelica ID $m$ $3$ - Number of phases m $n$ - Turns ratio n $\mathrm{false}$ - Indicates whether magnetization current is to be considered. If parameter is set to false,  magnetization is not considered. considerMagnetization $\mathrm{Lm1}$ - $H$ Magnetization inductances with respect to primary side Lm1
