Student[LinearAlgebra][EigenPlotTutor] - plot the eigenvectors of a Matrix

 Calling Sequence EigenPlotTutor(M)

Parameters

 M - (optional) square Matrix

Description

 • The EigenPlotTutor(M) command graphically displays the eigenvectors  of the square Matrix $M$.
 • The parameter M is the Matrix from which the eigenvectors will be computed.  The Matrix dimensions must be either 2 x 2 or 3 x 3. If M is not provided, a default Matrix is used. In either case, you can edit the entries of the Matrix interactively from within the Maplet application.
 • When you close the Maplet application, the plot of the eigenvectors appears in your Maple session.
 • To change the default colors of the plot objects, see the Student[SetColors] help page.
 • When EigenPlotTutor is running, interaction with the worksheet is not possible.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{Student}[\mathrm{LinearAlgebra}]\right):$
 > $M:=⟨⟨1,2,0⟩|⟨2,3,2⟩|⟨0,2,1⟩⟩$
 ${M}{:=}\left[\begin{array}{rrr}{1}& {2}& {0}\\ {2}& {3}& {2}\\ {0}& {2}& {1}\end{array}\right]$ (1)
 > $\mathrm{EigenPlotTutor}\left(M\right)$
