Ravigneaux Actuation (4-Speed)

Clutch Arrangement for a 4-Speed Ravigneaux Gearbox

            

 

 

 

The Ravigneaux Actuation component is intended for use with a Ravigneaux Gear (see Ravigneaux Gear). The internal structure of this component is shown below. The combination of the clutches and the activation table, enables the user to easily create a 4-Speed Ravigneaux Gearbox.

A 6 by 6 clutch actuation table. first column is for the gear numbers (not used) ordered from -1 (reverse) to 4 (forth gear). Zeroth gear designates neutral.
