transform(deprecated)/statsort - Help

stats[transform, statsort]

sort statistical data

 Calling Sequence stats[transform, statsort](data) transform[statsort](data)

Parameters

 data - statistical list

Description

 • Important: The stats package has been deprecated. Use the superseding package Statistics instead.
 • The function statsort of the subpackage stats[transform, ...] sorts the elements in data.
 • Missing items are placed at the end of the resulting list.
 • Classes can touch. If they overlap, they must be identical. Items with the same value are not combined. Use stats[transform, tally] to perform that task.
 • An error message indicating that stats/islessequal is not a Boolean function means that stats/islessequal was unable  to order two quantities. Check that the data is numeric or missing, and that classes do not overlap.
 • The name of this function is chosen so as not too clash with the sort() function.
