Magma

 RightIdentity
return a right identity element of a magma with a right identity

 Calling Sequence RightIdentity( m )

Parameters

m - Array representing the Cayley table of a finite magma

Description

 • The RightIdentity command returns a right identity element of a magma possessing one. If the magma has no right identity element, an exception is raised.
 • Note that a magma may have more than one right identity; only one right identity is returned.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{Magma}\right):$
 > $m≔⟨⟨⟨1|2|3⟩,⟨2|3|1⟩,⟨3|1|2⟩⟩⟩$
 ${m}{≔}\left[\begin{array}{rrr}{1}& {2}& {3}\\ {2}& {3}& {1}\\ {3}& {1}& {2}\end{array}\right]$ (1)
 > $\mathrm{RightIdentity}\left(m\right)$
 ${1}$ (2)

Compatibility

 • The Magma[RightIdentity] command was introduced in Maple 15.
