Internet Explorer 5.2 on a Macintosh, why do plot and math components display as images instead of applets?
When I use Internet Explorer 5.2 on a Macintosh, why do plot and math components display as images instead of applets?

Internet Explorer 5.2 on the Macintosh is not capable of using Java 1.4, which is required by the plot and math applets. To get around this Internet Explorer limitation, the server will render these components as images.
