Maple 9 General Information

When I try to print a worksheet from Linux, I receive an error message "Maple could not connect to any printers. Please make sure the desired printer is configured correctly." However, as far as I can tell, the printer is configured properly. How can I print my worksheet?

Because the Standard worksheet is a Java application, it requires that the printer be configured to use Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS) services. Consult your system documentation for information on changing your system configuration. Once configured this way, you should be able to print standard worksheets properly, and all your other applications will still be able to print as before.

As an alternative, the worksheet can be saved as a postscript file and printed using the standard print tools. In many cases, you will also be able to print using Classic worksheet Maple.
