Maple V Release: Version 4.00e

Welcome to Maple V Release 4---The Power Edition!

This patch modifies your original installation of Maple V Release 4. It makes the improvements listed below.

Installation Instructions (via FTP)

  1. Choose the version of Maple V Release 4 you wish to update (FPU, NonFPU, or PPC). Download the appropriate ".hqx" file using your web browser or another FTP utility.

  • Double-click on the Update icon.

  • Click on "Continue". Locate your Maple V application.

  • Click on the "Update" button.

    What's New?

  • Cut, Copy, and Paste work properly on Network Installations.
  • Bitmaps load correctly in worksheets not created on a Macintosh.
  • You can print more than one plot during a Maple session.
  • Bookmarks and hyperlinks created within a worksheet link properly and efficiently.
  • The MapleInit file is executed only once.
  • The command evalf of the gamma function calculates correctly on all versions.
  • The menu bar and the context bar are available when on-line help is used.
  • Multiple worksheets can be viewed simultaneously.
