Joseph Mom at the Electrical/Electronics Engineering department in the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria emphasizes simplicity in his teaching. This is why he is excited about MapleSim, the new and revolutionary modeling and simulation tool from Maplesoft.

Mr. Mom uses MapleSim in the field of spectrum management and antennae modeling. “While using MapleSim, I realized that it is built on sound basics,” said Mr. Mom. “The equations automatically generated by MapleSim are written in a notation natural to engineers and are hence very readable. Students can better understand the models by studying the equations. It is as simple as that.”

      <itunes:summary>
I just wanted to tell you what a difference I found in your math class from any other math I have ever taken. Last semester I didn't always make the time to do my math homework and because of that my grades suffered. I finished with a 70, my lowest mark. In your class, the Maple T.A. tests you offered made such a huge impact on my approach to learning. Every week I made myself sit down and do the Maple TA tests until I understood the material. I didn't realize how beneficial this was until studying for the final exam. I found myself able to remember everything I had learned from the very beginning. Studying was just a "refresher", not a struggle. My mark ended up being 88% this semester, up 18% in one semester!!! That's the highest mark I've ever had in calculus! Higher then what I got in high school! I didn't think that would ever happen.
</itunes:summary>
