- Question authoring
- Instructors can edit a question and delete all algorithmic variable definitions in a question, if desired
- Comments included in essay questions will display correctly when testing the grading in the Question Bank Editor
- Maple statements that result in scientific notation are handled properly by Maple T.A. There was an issue where certain results returned from Maple were being incorrectly interpreted as exp(1) instead of scientific notation.
- Equation Editor
- Improved accent placement
- Improved baseline alignment of MathML images
- Support for a wider range of MathML entities
- Default font inferred from surrounding text
- Extraneous spaces in the equation editor are removed before grading to ensure correct grading.
- Assignment improvements
- Button that enables student to change the math entry mode from text to symbol in inline formula questions has been added back to the page
- Both methods of accessing past results in reworkable homework assignments now follow the restrict feedback policy set by the instructor in the Assignment Editor
- Algorithmic variables were not being initialized in a small percentage of assignments. This has been addressed.
- Gradebook
- Correct answers in Maple-graded questions are recalculated based on the specific parameters in the question when viewing student results
- The date range in the gradebook report is now dynamically generated and includes the current year
- Ability to create a report in the Maple T.A. gradebook and upload it directly to the Blackboard gradebook when using the Maple T.A. Building Block™ for Blackboard Learning System™ (Release 6).
- Course Modules
- Certain browsers started downloading course modules before the course module file was completely created. There is now a link to download once the course module file is ready to be downloaded.
