Thermal Exchange Between Lithium-ion Cells

This model simulates temperature exchange between two Li-ion battery cells. The Li-ion battery model used in this example is an electrochemistry-based automotive battery, modeled based on the porous electrode theory which features battery state of charge, mass transport, Li+ intercalation / diffusion processes, different electrode chemistries, and thermal effects.

Battery thermal is modeled using MapleSim's standard thermal components. This allows the two cells to exchange temperature between each other and with the surrounding air.
